Tom Yam Noodles Soup

Notoriously hot and sour!

Ingredients   Servings: 2 people

Tom Yam Noodles kit
1 pack
 Shallots (minced)2 pieces
Lemongrass (sliced)
 1 stem
Mushrooms (quartered)
Lime juice


1. Boiled water with spices

Boil 500ml of water in a big saucepan.
Add 1 chicken stock cube when the water is boiling.
Then stir until the cube has dissolved in the boiled water.
Add 1 stem lemongrass (sliced) and 2 small shallots (minced).

2. Add Tom Yam paste

Stir in the Tom Yam paste into the boiling water until it has completely dissolved.
Add 250g beef filet (sliced) or some tofu.
Add 6 button mushrooms (quartered).

3. Add beef and mushrooms

Add 250g beef filet (sliced) or some tofu. 
Add 6 button mushrooms (quartered).

4. Add Rice Noodles

Add the rice noodles.
Simmer for 5 minutes until cooked through.

5. Add Thai Seasonings

Stir in the 3 sachets of Thai seasonings (fish sauce, coconut sugar and spices).
Add 1 tbsp. lime juice.

6. Garnish & serve

Serve your Tom Yam Soup in soup bowls and garnish with a handful of fresh basil.
