Thai Fried Rice

The signature dish of Thailand!

Ingredients   Servings: 2 people

Prawns6 pieces
Pineapple chunks50g
Oyster Sauce1 tbsp
Fish sauce1 tbsp
Carrot1 piece
Shallot½ piece
Clove1 clove
Spring onions1 piece
Cashew nuts1 sachet
Dried raisin1 sachet
Coriander leaves
 1 bunch


1. Stir-fry the garlic

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, add minced garlic.
Stir until golden brown.

2. Stir-fry the prawns

Add prawns, stir occasionally until nearly cooked.
Add diced carrot and minced shallot, 
stir until carrot is cooked through.

3. Add the rice

Add cooked rice, pinch of salt, 1 tsp sugar, pinch of white pepper, 
1 tsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce and pineapple chunks.
Add spring onions and stir until all ingredients are well mixed 
(about 2-3 minutes).

4. Plate your dish

Top with fried cashew nuts and dried raisins.
Garnish with coriander and serve with lime wedges.
