Pizza Massaman

An exotic twist to everyone’s favourite

Chicken Satay
Pizza dough
 1
Massaman curry sauce
1 pouch
Mozzarella cheese150g
Potatoes
100g
 Chicken breast 150g
 Shallots 30g

Method

Considered to be one of Thailand’s most famous (and delicious!) dishes, the Massaman curry originates in the South of Thailand.
In this simple recipe, we’re revisiting this age-old recipe to give it a modern spin and combine it with pizza, a classic Italian favourite. What’s not to love about that?

1. Prepare the dough

Before beginning, make sure to preheat your oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Place the dough on a round pizza tray.
Lightly prick the dough with a fork to make holes all over the pizza base (to ensure the dough does not rise whilst cooking).

2. Add the Massaman sauce

Pour the Massaman curry sauce on the dough. 
Use a flat utensil to spread the sauce evenly across the dough.

3. Add the chicken and toppings

Slice the cooked chicken breast into small pieces.
Slice the cooked potatoes cut into cubes, and mince both the shallots and cheese.
Spread the toppings generously over the base of the pizza.

4. Place in the oven

Cook the pizza in the oven for 20 minutes.
